RE-INSTALLING ACAD 2010 LT

Hullo

I am trying to re-install my licensed copy of Autocad LT 2010 from the original CD onto a rebuilt computer running Windows XP

It stops the installation when it gets to this file

acadlt/SetupRes/Docs/acadlt_aug.chm

and asks me to check if it is accessible

I have found it and indeed opened it [just a help file]

But still can't get any further.

Any ideas anyone?

Copy all the content of your disk to your PC, then install from there and see if that helps.

Sorry you've got me there. What is it and where might I find it?

I've found it but it might be a bit big as it seems to include everything it was trying to save-download until it got stuck - 67mb it says

Yikes! Often it's a much smaller file, with the date of the installation on it, no more than 50k-200k in size,

I think it is not so much the log as the temp files that I was trying to copy
I have tried again via another computer and a usb stick but that also says it can't find a file [.msi in this case] when I try to run .exe

MSI is an installation file. You'll probably need to ask in the Installation forum about access to a download and help with installing it http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/installation-and-licensing/ct-p/3001
