Hello.
I've received a drawing that has an raster imaged inserted in it. When I want to see the properties of that image, I can only see the following:
Show Image - Yes
Show Clipped - Yes
Transparency - No
Nothing about the path or etc.
Could you tell how this is done and what is this all about?
Thanks
I tried with copy/paste as you suggested, but it's not quite the same thing. This method inserts an OLE object and not a raster image. And INSERTOBJ command does not work.
READ THIS: http://autocadtips.wordpress.com/2013/02/22/embed-a-picture-not-as-a-reference/
Start INSERTOBJ command:
◦Choose "Create New", then choose "Bitmap Image".
◦Next, Windows Paintbrush should open up.
◦In Paintbrush, choose the Edit menu, then PasteFrom
◦Select your existing image file (JPG, BMP, PNG, TIF, etc.)
◦While still in Paintbrush, choose File, then Exit and Return to AutoCAD
OR you could buy Full AutoCAD with the RASTER DESIGN add-on, and use the IEMBED command (I think it's called) to bind an image inside a DWG file.
