Hi guys

My quick access toolbar is invisible - I cannot see the buttons on it (AutoCAD LT 2010).

I have tried altering the window settings but it doesnt seem t make much difference.

I have attached a screenshot of what it looks like. Can anyone help please?

At the command line type OSNAP

Choose the QUICK PROPERTIES tab. Enable it. Was that what you were talking about.

Windows 10? That's not a supported OS for LT2010 http://autode.sk/1IY4C2X

See if changing the WIn10 title bar color would help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dg5UcJWuQf0

Thanks for replying.

Its the quick access toolbar that appears in the top left hand corner of the screen - next to the big AuotCAD "A".

My OSNAP and quick properties are working just fine.

I have a new computer but I had it downgraded to Windows  7 so that I could run AutoCAD LT 2010.

I am not a great fan of paying huge amounts of money for an annual subscription when I paid a huge amount of money for lifetime license.

I will have to eventually but just for now........

Prompt CUI command, then check that there is Quick Access toolbar in your workspace.

If you can't find it, You need to drag & drop Quick Access toolbar1 into your workspace.

Thanks for the reply

I do have a Quick Access Toolbar but its just invisible. If I run my cursor over where the buttons are the description comes up but the buttons are invisible!

As I say, I have looked at some of the windows settings but they dont seem to make any difference.

Look up how to change the Windows title bar color and see if that would help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5ityyzomew

Hi @JamesPowell7164,

Since you are running an unsupported configuration it is difficult to offer a quick solution. I imagine that you have tried checking for current graphics drivers. If that and the other solutions did not work, I suspect that this is really a .Net Framework issue. It sounds like you downgraded your OS to Windows 7 and then reinstalled AutoCAD 2010. If that still did not fix the problem then please check to see which .Net version you have installed.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

Hi John

It isnt resolved as the quick access toolbar is present but the buttons are transparent.

As you say - it is for AutoCAD LT 2010 running on Windows 7 professional. I am running full AutoCAD 2018 on the same machine and the toolbar is visible when I turn this on.

I thought that it may be a windows setting that i was having a problem with but it seems to be something else. The prompts appear when I rollover the buttons so it is usable, just not preferable.

I'm having this issue too. When I click in the blank space, things happen.

I'm at work and we have profiles set up with custom toolbars etc... so I'm wondering if something is broken between the link to the files where autocad would look to display the image of the icons....

@Renata-H Still running LT2010 in Win7 same as the post you are relying in?

If not, turn off hardware acceleration in GRAPHICSCONFIG command and see if that helps.
Also show us a full screen screenshot of what you see please.

I ended up deciding to move on by choosing to display the quick access
toolbar below the ribbon instead, which makes it display just fine that way.

The thing I don't understand is that I work on both civil 3d and AutoCAD,
and on civil 2017, the quick access toolbar is showing up fine (with
hardware acceleration on)
But on my 2014 AutoCAD and civil 3d, the quick access isn't displaying
properly at the top.

Thanks for replying and trying to help though! Maybe some of the details
from my situation will help others figure things out

[Edit- I'm working on windows 10]
