-publish not working in AutoCAD LT 2026

We recently switched from full AutoCAD to AutoCAD LT 2026. All our lisp works, except our publishing routines.

After creating the DSD file, the routine issues:  

(command "-publish" filename.dsd)

Upon which all chokes.

From the text screen in AutoCAD, I can type: (command "-publish").

I get: Unknown command "-PUBLISH".

BTW, if I type (command "publish") without the hyphen on the text screen in AutoCAD, it works, though it brings up the dialog box, and I'm forced to clear the sheets and navigate to the DSD file.

The -publish doesn't work in LT. Many command line variants just don't exist in LT, btw. I don't think there's an easy workaround with LISPs either, but not too sure. Full autocad is better for a lot of automation. If you really depend on publishing large volumes of sheets, I'd recommend looking into sheet sets. Lt has just enough for some lisps, but full version is still king for bulky automation from what I've seen.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, we're using sheet sets, and then Publish.

We just discovered a workaround, 

(command "+publish" filename.dsd) .

It still brings up the dialog box, but at least feeds the .dsd sheet and avoids the navigation hassle.
