LT version is...?
Windows version is...?
Is the problem limited to this one file?

Define your exact method of layer isolation please and whether this is being done inside a viewport.

lt version 2007.  windows version 10.  the problem is on every file.

in paperspace i hit the icon LAYER ISOLATE on some layer...any layer...and i get that message.  i am not clicking in a viewport - this is definitely a paperspace problem...

LT2007 is not supported in WIn10 http://autode.sk/1IY4C2X
That means no one at Autodesk will ever create a fix to any problem you find with that combination.

Solution may be an updated video card, or running LT2007 in WinXP or Vista Mode or other lower-than-Win10 options as described here from Microsoft http://www.howtogeek.com/228689/how-to-make-old-programs-work-on-windows-10/

Rolling back to Win7 or upgrading to LT2017-LT2018 are also valid options if all else fails, as well as possibly buying a fix from these folks http://www.longbowsoftware.com

Hi @ db,

As you are aware by now from Dean's post in this thread that your AutoCAD LT version is not supported on Windows 10.

See this article for more details.

Win 10.jpg

If you want to continue to work with this AutoCAD LT I think it's do-able you'll just need to run this product on a compatible operating system.

Please also look to System requirements for AutoCAD LT 2007

If you want to continue to run the WIN 10 as a temporary fix you could run the trial version of a newer version of AutoCAD LT.
