Heaven forfend that someone want to put effort into resolving a graphical glitch that's more than 2 decades old in a graphical-oriented program. If it doesn't bother you, there's no need to chime in just to try to invalidate someone else's experience. At least the work-around solutions to this bug posted here may be helpful to others with this problem.
