Panel Button Display HELP

How do I expand the panel buttons on the ribbon?

I was fiddling with the settings and cant get back to what I would like.

Attached are two images, one with the minimised panel buttons (this I have and don't want).  The other with the expanded panel buttons, this is what I do want.

I've searched for a solution and cannot find it.  Any help massively appreciated.
