Opaque background to Text

Anonymous
Not applicable

I'm having trouble trying to give my text an opaque background.

In this case I have used MT command in paperspace but I need

an opague background to mask out the drawing behind.

When I use the Mtext edit/background mask it does successfully create a mask but

then as soon as I move the image or refresh it disappears. Any idea

what's going on.  I have also tried to use the wipeout command to achieve

the same thing but am unable to order the elements successfully.

Should it be so complex.
