no info when selecting an object

Hi,
when selecting e.g. a line, and "hovering" over e.g. the end points, i don't see the length of the line (like it did with the Acad LT2010 version). Dynamic input is turned on, and in the dynamic input dialog box all of the boxes are checked.

Check your setting for 'dynmode' a value of 3 should show the length as you hover on a grip, you can also add it too your quickproperties using the 'cui'

A quick way to get at the settings is the 'cui' button in the top right of the quick properties palette, it will take you straight too the sttings for the selected object type.

thanks for replying. Rollover tooltips have been turned on and customized,
still not working.
can't see the things i checked in the dailog box when hovering over (should
be at tooltips not in quick properties...)

Do you have the 2020.1 update installed? ABOUT command will confirm, if not, do so now.
Is DYNMODE set to 3 (not -3)?

IN DSETTINGS' DYNAMIC INPUT tab, are all the boxes checked and all the settings on?

Does the problem exist in all files, or just this one?

has this ever worked in LT2020 for you?

I am not able to reproduce your problem in LT2020.1 here: you might have a reinstall in your future.

Hi,

i just installed Acad LR 2020 last week, didn't have this version before,
so no, this has never worked for me.
About says i have the Q.47.0.0 AutoCAD LT 2020
all the boxes are checked in dynamic input tab.

But. My collegue justtold me she had the same issue, and the soluttion is
to up the size of the tooltip appearance via options>drafting>drafting
tooltip settings

You do not have the update: it is required, it solved many flaws, go get it from your Autodesk accounts page and install it.
