Need to disable TrueView

I am running 2007 LT and recently downloaded TrueView 2015 in order to open shared files on my network.  Most of the files I am trying to open are 2010 LT or newer.  The viewer works great but I would like to disable it from opening all LT files.  Since I have downloaded it my system defaults to opening all CAD files with the viewer, regardless of the vintage of the file.  I need to still be able to open 2007 or older files with my version of LT

Windows remembers that last DWG application you used: so if you start LT2007 it will always default to LT2007 until the next time you launch the viewer.
if you start the viewer, it will always use the viewer until you start LT2007.

DWG files can be opened with *many* different applications, and in some of those applications there can be different profiles (not so much in LT).  Its good to get into the habit of launching the program first then opening the file so you can be certain the correct application is being used.
