Multitext reference ?

Im not sure how to word what i need, so i'll try to describe it. 

I want to place a multiline text in paper space and in my title block. When i edit that text, I want them both to change to be the same text. For example, I put a date in paper space. that same date is to be displayed on my title block as well. I hope this all makes sense ... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make the text into a block.
Place block references where ever you want them to appear.
Edit the block as needed.
All instances will update.

For some things (such as the date), you can just use Fields.
