Have a layout with 4 jpegs inserted (cropped, scaled etc). All fine for the rest of the work session until next day reopened file and half are missing. This is curious as all four jpgs have practically the same filepath. The only difference there could be is some were copied and pasted and others may have been dragged and dropped.
I'm aware of how to use xref manager etc -but this isn't of much use when you are dealing with images that are cropped etc.
The missing images are still set to be linked to the source, and the source is not readily available in AutoCAD's search path when you started the file back up again. That's the problem. That's why it happened.
So you either did reference them in, or you managed to keep them linked to the source.
