Missing Modify Panel???

I have just updated my AutoCAD LT 2016 to 2017 and I am having a issue with the Ribbon...... the Modify Panel is missing from the the Home Tab?

I have gone into the Customize User Interface and the Modify Panel is in the Home Tab tree, I have successfully added the Modify Panel to the Insert Tab so I know there is not an issue with the Tab. I then went in to the Home Tab and deleted the Modify Panel and then added it back in again but it will not display on the Home Tab. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Seeing as the Modify tools are an essential part of AutoCAD I need to get this rectified as soon as possible.

Ok, so I manages a work-a-round......

I took a copy of the Modify Panel, renamed it and I was then able to bring it into the Home Tab. Interestingly enough AutoCAD didn't take the name (Mike 1 - I know very inventive of me) I called the copy??? It displays the Tab as 'Copy of Home 2D - Modify' which is what it was called before I renamed the panel.

There is still an issue so it would be interesting to here from anyone who manged to sort out the original issue.

is the panel simply turned off? You can turn off panels, and turn them on, simply right-click on the ribbon in a blank spot and find out. You yourself just wrote it's already called "Home 2D - Modify" so it's there.

It might be beat to reset LT2017 first now that you've modified more than you intended https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to...

Thank you for the response Dean,

That was the first thing I checked, but the Modify Panel was not an option to turn off or on even though it is shown within the Home Tab tree within the CUI?

However, both the Modify Panel I added to the Insert Tab and the 'copy of' I then added to the Home Tab are selectable and can be turn off or on.... Strange.

At the moment I am happy to keep the program as is because all I have do is added a new Panel to a Tab but I thank you for your advise and if I experience any other issue I will reload it.

The Modify Panel is there in LT2017 OOTB, always has been, and it's on by default as well.

I wonder if your migrations/adds may have jacked with it.

Happy Cadding.

If you don't want to reset or change your current setup try logging in as separate user on your system. For instance, if you log on as a different windows user, does the issue still happen? This way you don't have to change anything yet on your system and you can see if it's the customization or add-ons that is causing some sort of hiccup.
