making floor plan overlay solid fill

Hey Al,,

 

I'm sorry for what is a basic question but I cant seem to remember the best way to have a floor plan sit on top of a solid colour.

Sounds like you want to use Draworder command and select the solid color object to send to back:

@daniel_dysonAGX6U you can't do what you want if your colored areas are in paperspace and your floor plan is a viewport from modelspace.

Move your hatches to modelspace using CHSPACE command

I’d try to place all objects drawn related to the same plan in the same space including solid hatch pattern, texts and dimensions. Then you would avoid problems like this.
