loss of functions

after a recent crash of autocad LT when re-initiated the program I lost the function that when I clicked on an line in the drawing the layers panel would show me what layer it was on. The properties panel will show me the color of the layer but not what layer it is on. The layer panel just shows whatever layer I have selected to work on only. Also with his crash I am no longer able to double click on a multiline text and edit it. In fact I cannot edit text at all.

Please help.

Try a complete removal and then reinstall the program:

Remove Autodesk Products:
