Up until yesterday the front thumb button on my mouse had been set to be used to pan the screen. I could click and hold and pan around and upon release it went back to the crosshairs.
Yesterday this stopped working and I have not been able to figure out how to reset it to work again.
I have tried many of the settings in SetPoint, but there is no "middle button" setting in the Other list. Also, setting the keystroke to "p" results in p being entered in the command line, but still having to press enter and esc to get in and out of pan. It's not the same as what I had it set to previously.
If anyone could help me out, I would be so very appreciative!

I finally got it to work.
I ended up removing the previous configuration I had for AutoCAD and redoing it.
The only issue is there is no middle button setting under Other in the specific program configuration settings for some assinine reason.
So what you have to do is set it to middle button globally on the main button settings and that should carry over.
