Lineweight Question

Hey all, got a question that I have not seen while searching for an answer. 

Question is:  Is it possible to assign a  graduated line weight. Meaning the beginning of the line is default at 25mm and the end of the line is (say) 9mm. Is this possible? If not would it be possible to add this to a future upgrade?

So the graduation would vary depending on the length of the line?

The closest thing I can think of would be to use a polyline with different beginning and ending widths applied.

PLINEs have had start and end width settings since their creation 30+years ago, give that a shot.

Perfect! Just what I was looking for. I rarely need to use this so a couple of clicks is no big deal.
