Linetype folder location

Hi

I am using AutoCAD 2019LT

I am looking at drawing up a site drainage plan and to my surprise there are no surface / foul waste linetypes and they have to be custom made. So I created the code in notepad and now I cant find the autocad folder where all the linetypes reside.  I am starting to think it is not possible in LT version, am I correct? Also it is not clear if the notepad txt file should retain its.txt extension or if this should be renamed to .ln?

I have never created a custom linetype before and all info on the web including Autodesks help & nothing answers the above questions.

Thanks

1. The extension is ".lin"

2. You can load linetype from whereever you want

     command LINETYPE

Standard *.lin are stored in

"C:\\Users\\<user>\\appdata\\roaming\\autodesk\\<autocad version>\<release>\\<language>\\support\\

Thanks Betreff

I can see the location through AutoCAD's LINTYPE command by clicking the File... in the Load Reload Linetypes Dialog box and it is exactly how you explained but if I go through windows explorer the App Data folder is missing.

Is your Windows Explorer set up to display hidden system files/folders?

Do you have the right from IT to see that folder?

I have been on numerous forums and all I can find is click view and check
show hidden folders but I don't even have that option all I get is the view
large icons, list etc.
