Lines disappearing with heavier lineweights

There seems to be a glitch with my install of Autocad LT, I have tried doing a fresh reinstall of the software but the same thing keeps happening.

All heavier lineweights disappear and you can only see the end-point nodes.

See attached images showing the "display lineweight" function on and off - note these are all "Continuous" line-types, not dotted or dashed.

Any ideas how to fix this please?

UPDATE: I have realised that the issue seems to lie with the Graphics Performance options.  If 'Hardware Acceleration' is on, and the '2D Display Settings' are set to 'Basic' the lines appear fine. Alternatively, if 'Hardware Acceleration' is turned off the lines appear ok.  It is only with 'Hardware Acceleration' on and '2D Display Settings' set to Intermediate or Advanced mode that this issue is occuring.

Apologies, what is this showing? Other than how to turn hardware acceleration on and off?

Use GRAPHICSCONFIG command and change the 2D display settings from Advanced to Intermediate.

Or try this that I just saw in another post: Set the windows graphics setting for autocad to high performance.  Check out this link: https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-force-your-...

I am just today experiencing this issue with my full install of Civil 3D (not LT). Before today this was not a problem. The glitch began after I exploded a LiDAR surface to produce contours which I've done many times before without issue.
All drivers are up to date and forcing Windows 10 to use High performance did nothing.
Audit, purge, wblock, etc have no effect.

This glitch is also affecting my basic installation of AutoCAD 2022.
The graphics "card" has performed amazingly well and is actually integrated into the processor:
12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1265U with Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics

I would prefer to not reinstall the program and lose my settings.

I found a solution here:
https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/objects-disappear-...

I switched from using DirectX12 to DirectX11 and BAM graphics issue gone.
Set GFXDX12 to zero. Go back and set your graphics back to normal. Have a nice day.
