Lines are distorted/mangled when printing to PDF

Hi All, 

I am trying to print my drawing to a PDF using the following settings:

However, when I view the PDF and zoom in to see certain elements of the drawing, the lines/small detail are completely distorted and mangled (See below as to how it looks in the paper space vs how it plots.) I am unsure if this is to be expected when zooming in on a PDF of a drawing with so much detail from a large scale (1:3500) or if this can be rectified by enabling/disabling certain settings? When I print the PDF at a much smaller scale (1:750), the quality of the detail is unaltered. However, for the purposes of this drawing I need it at a large scale.

Do you get the same problems if you use the printer highlighted in the image below?

Dumb question(s): just like you, we all plot from AutoCAD to PDF or printer/plotters at all sorts of scales all ay long. Is this a unique issue with this one file? Or does this now happen to ALL of your files? Even if you copy/paste this file's content into a blank new DWG and try it again?

Can you share your DWG here please: use ETRANSMIT command to bundle everything we over here might need to try and reproduce your issue.

I played around with these options and it improved significantly, thank you! I'm so used to using the same printer options with no issue, that I didn't think to vary this option!
