License at Home

 I have a subscription for Autocad LT through work.  Can I use this license (key) to work from home on my personal computer also?

If the license purchaser allows it, then yes, you can do a home license thing.

It is a standalone license.  It would only be used either on one computer at a time home or office.

I would like to activate a copy of Autocad LT at home. I have tried to use the license info from my work computer but without success.

I cannot find any clear explanation of the process within Auotdesk. I would be very gratful if someone could give me a simple walkthrough of how to do it?  Many thanks.

Hi

I installed LT on my home computer and tried to activate with the serial
number and product key of software on my work computer. It would not accept
these details so I need to know how to activate (the method). I don't
understand the link you have attached or what I'm supposed to do with it.

What was the exact error? what was the exact wording? And at which set of numbers, the serial or the product code? And what version of LT are you trying to install?

Or... Instead of copy/paste the codes, type them manually: copy/paste adds spaces sometimes which makes the digits invalid as they are seen as extra.
Make sure you recognize capital i as that and not a one or lower case L if you are typing them in.

Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.



At activation it asked for a Serial number in one box and a product key in
the other box. I typed these having written them down from my Autocad LT at
work. Could you please confirm if this is the right method? As I recall it
would not accept the product key but I will try again this evening and let
you know the exact wording but there is little point to any of this if this
is not the correct method for activating the software.

What product are you trying to install? Then we will know which product key you need.

Hi

I have Autocad LT 2016 on my work computer.

I had downloaded Autocad LT 2017 onto my home machine thinking there would
be no difference as we are paying a perpetual licence. Anyway I have decided
to remove 2017 and replace it with 2016 and try again with the codes/numbers
I have. It is not a typing issue; I have double checked the codes.
