Is is possible to set the display order of layers and the objects on them. By this I don't mean the display/sorting of layers in the layer manager. I mean, if I have layer "windows", with window blocks, and a layer "walls" with wall sections. Can I set the windows layer so all objects on that layer are always displayed the wall layer. Basically setting layers in the draw order.

Draworder is per object, nothing to do with layers, so the answer is NO.

In fullversion acad you can use 3.part tools to get this function.

If you know about the Layernames, you can create a SCRIPT for your LT version.

How about using qselect to select everything on the layer windows. then use draworder and set all those windows to be 'above' when you are prompted for objects to be above just use "all". This might be a problem if you want to set various layer priority.

Freeze all but one layer, DRAWORDER to TOP.
Repeat for the other layers that may need to be above that.

About 30-seconds of your time max.
