Interior Elevation

Hello there, i'm a beginner, how do I use the interior elevation feature in autocad? There are numbers 1 through 4 around the circle and there is another number in the middle. And what does it function? Thanks.

You would normally use something like this in a floor plan. The code in the centre would refer to a drawing layout and then the numbers inside the arrows would let you know which detail to look at for the relevant elevation for that plan.

Thank you, I've understood it, but one more question, do I always have to put an interior elevation code in every floor plan I make?

That is more a question of cad standards. It is going to depend on the company you are working for, some may use a different method to show where the details are and on small projects with only a few drawing sheets you may not need to do anything.
