Installation Update of AutoCAD LT 2020 not working

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have AutoCAD LT 2019 along with Revit LT 2019 currently installed in my laptop running on Windows 10 Home. When i am logging into Autodesk Desktop application, i can see the AutoCAD LT 2020 update available for installation. However, when I am selecting the terms and conditions and clicking on Installation button, nothing in moving.

Any help would be appreciated.

It says in the middle of that image that your updates have been installed? Have you checked, you can't update twice. If it is still a problem you might be best asking over here.

Have you checked? => Command: ABOUT

What productversion is installed?

The ADA is not the best way to install ALL new software (what the 2020s are): it works well for many, fails miserably for as many too.

You can go grab the 2020 downloads (again, it is not an "update" to 2019) from your Autodesk account page here https://manage.autodesk.com/

Hello @Anonymous,

I hope you were able to resolve this if you continue to experience issues, please try the steps outlined below.

  1. Reboot the computer, make sure apps are not auto running in the background
  2. Log in as Administrator or right-click "Run as Admin". Verify your profile permissions, full control or create a new profile
  3. Make sure you have an uninterrupted & high-speed connection to the internet
  4. Clean out the TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Start Menu and hit Enter (Windows)
  5. Temporarily disable security settings like Antivirus, Firewall & UAC on your Windows operating system
  6. Use your Autodesk Account instead to download & install Autodesk product updates

Please "Accept Solution" if a reply or replies have helped resolve the issue or answered your question, to help others in the community.
