Inserting a Block

I am using Lt 2010. After inserting a block with the "I" (insert) command I cannot insert a different block. Example: I insert block "A", later, I try to insert block "B" but even though I type "B", "A" still is inserted. I cannot figure out why it is doing this. I have tried repairing autocad but it doesn't help. Is there a setting that I have goofed that makes the drawing do this? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

No, A is a completely different drawing than B. It won't bring in anything except the first block that you insert, no matter what you try.

I meant in the file you are in, not the definitions of both anywhere else,
they are the same.

WBLOCK command to create a copy of each externally from the file you are in
will confirm it or not.
