INFERCONSTRAINT command not existing

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

I am trying to get to know AutoCAD LTD 2022 and I want to practice with parametric drawings. Unfortunately, AutoCAD shows me "unknown command" when I type infer constrain.

Also the status bar doesn't show infer constraints. Does anybody know how can I activate the command?

Thanks so much, Thorsten

Also, when I try to create dynamic blocs, in the block editor the constraints are also missing.

I was not able to find a solution with "google" or here in this forum.

Thank you, Thorsten

Hi,

which program are you running?

Geometric constraints are available since version 2011,

but not in LT (you wrote LTD!?)

The command/Variable you talking about is CONSTRAINTINFER.

Hi, I am running AutoCad 2022 LT. So it really sesms to be limited in that regard.

Thanks so much for your support.

In lT you can 'see' constraints that have been applied by someone using full Autocad and they work just fine. But LT cannot create or edit them (it can delete them). What exactly are you trying to do with the block there is possibly a way to do it just using parameters and actions, or are you just trying things out?
