Importing .dwg into CorelDraw issues - objects moving/artefacts

Hello all. Hoping someone could help me with this. I've tried importing 2018, 2013 and 2010 .dwgs from AutoCAD LT 19 to CorelDraw X8. Every time I've had two issues:

  1. A couple of objects/layers being moved
  2. Extra paths/curves being drawn/areas not being filled as they were in AutoCAD

I know this is likely something I'll have to change on CorelDraw's end, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows where to start with this as I cannot find a huge amount out there on people having similar issues.

Thanks.

CorelDraw does not like autocad mtext so in autocad I would recommend you explode the mtext so that it becomes text and see if that helps with your text moving issue. CorelDraw does not like autocad hatch so in autocad I would recommend you  change the solid hatch to Ansi31 and give it a very small hatch pattern scale of .5 or smaller then explode the hatch so you end up with individual lines. See attached autocad file.

This seemed to work. Thanks!

I've managed to explode the text myself, but cannot figure out how to convert that hatch and give it a pattern. Had a Google but couldn't find much - do you know of a quick guide on this?

Your hatch is located inside of a block named A$C515C099F. You will need to use the BEDIT command to enter the block editor. Once inside of the block editor you can use the HATCHEDIT command to change the pattern and scale. See picture below. Once done close the block editor and save changes.
