How to exit dtext

Autocad LT - One line text - The text is displayed - I am UNABLE to exit the command!  JPA

What did you try?
You can right-click to select CANCEL or just Tap the ESC key on your keyboard to end the command.

When you have entered the text you want, click on an empty part of the drawing (which starts a new text item) and then simply press 'escape' which ends the text command, just make sure you first click away from your entered text or it will just be deleted.

or the well way, just hit [ENTER]
