How to display at once the sum of area of more than one closed polylines

[Question]

　You can find the area of a closed polylines, by selecting the polyline and viewing property window. When you have more than one closed polylines (each on different layers), Can you find the sum of area of them at once? It would be very appreciated if anyone could make a reply.

[Issue]

　You find "various" in the property window, if you select more than one closed polylines. So, I repeat selecting one of closed polylines, finding the area, coping it to memo, and make a sum of them. It takes a lot of time.

 I have found the answer at another forum. Typing "AREA > A > O" at command line works.
