How do I turn off the "selection" box popup?

Just a few days ago Autocad LT started popping up a selection box every time I try to execute a drafting command like trim, draworder, fillet, etc. I've been using autocad for 23 years and I've never seen nor needed this annoying pop-up. How can I turn it off? I tried "options" but can't figure it out. It's driving me nuts!

You turned this classic old tool on, and can turn it off the same way or by looking up this old command in the program's HELP

Thank you! It turned itself on. I don't have that button visible on my lower task bar... so I used the command "selectioncycling" and switched it to 0. Fixed.

how do you turn it off permanently, as it keeps toggling on every time I restart?

thanks, but as I clearly stated, I already did that, and as noted, it keeps restarting every time I open autocad.  I'm looking for a solution that permanently toggles it, without having to re-toggle every time I open autocad or open a new drawing.

Then you have a startup or routine or custom actions or shortcuts that are turning it back on for you since I have SELECTIONCYCLING turned off permanently as I guided and it's never come back on "by itself".

Inside your AutoCAD, post a screenshot of your ABOUT command pop-up plus the DDSETTINGS command pop-up at the SELECTION CYCLING tab please.

Nope, you did not, unless the two different logins (from 2026 and 2024) are you, in which case how would anyone around here know that?

i TURN THIS OFF EVERY MONTH OR SO. it keeps turning on randomly. I want to delete this from the source code. I keep coming to this post.

No, i dont accidentally turn it on. I don;t have the icon visible, I've used autocad since it was called AUTOCAD R14, no, not 2014... R14. Way older.... and only since acad 2025 this is happening. I know what I'm doing in autocad (most of the time) and I use mostly keyboard commands. trust me BRO this selection window keeps coming up on its own. It's alive

@rafael4AHFJ Here are the ways to open a support case with Autodesk if you are on subscription to seek out Autodesk Support's help:

Thanks it worked.

In my case it showed as "disabled" even though it was active. I had to enable then disable it. Then the silly popup disappeared.
