HIgh Resolution Display for LT 2015 and Windows 8.1 (window display graphics)

I recently purchased a new laptop for mobile autocad lt use. The window display is unbearable. The buttons are extremely small and the font is extremely large.

I've already tried to reduce my computer's display resolution to 1920 x 1080, which did not resolve the problem.
Additionally, I have tried to adjust the display settings in AutoCAD using Options > Display.

Also, I've tried:

Turning hardware acceleration off.

After a bit of research on Autodesk community i found a way to change this through windows registry, but even that did not really fix the issue and I tend to shy away from regedits.

Is AutoCAD not able to adjust to the High Resolution Display? Is this an issue with Windows 8.1?

Please advise.
Thanks so much.

AutoCAD is not designed for high-res monitors. End of story :cara_de_decepción:

If the tips in the Autodesk post offer no relief, you'll need to do this (what I do):

Thanks Pendean,
Looks like the link you've provided is the only solution for now.

Just out of curiosity, would downgrading to windows 7 help at all or is this strictly an Autodesk/ application issue?

No, the fix needs to be designed into AutoCAD by Autodesk.

Thank you for your observations on the appearance of AutoCAD on high resolution displays. The development team is looking for comments about your experience with setting the Windows display scale to 150% or more, to accommodate newer monitors. Please take this quick survey (5 minutes), if you have tried to use AutoCAD this way.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Is there any other solution for this issue? I've tried the manifest file one on Windows 10 with Autocad 2017 and it fails to launch, anytime selecting more than 3 lines at a time it shuts down.... Do you know what can be the reason for that? Thank you

AutoCAD/LT2017 and lower are not designed for high-res monitors. AutoCAD/LT only runs on displays set to 1920x1080 (also try 2560x1440 and up to 2560x1600 if you have that option) and at 100% text scaling (no more than 125% text scaling).

Ignore your 4k factory settings for as long as you wish to use AutoCAD/LT until Autodesk fixes it in the next version-year/two/five/ten.
