I am buying a new computer and want to be able to run two non-clone monitors from it. Dell tells me I need to have a certain graphics card(s) to do this. The machine comes with a NVIDIA NCS315, which will not do what I want. Does anyone know what card or cards I need to achieve this?
Thanks, Mark

Hi @Anonymous,
I would fist make sure that you look the Certified Hardware list before purchasing a card. All cards on that list have been tested in a Windows environment with the specific application release.
I know other community member's will be responding shortly with their own recommendations. I would just suggest you make sure you purchase a card that can handle the type of file sizes you work in and has been tested and certified according to the list above. I

Thanks, Emmsleys-
So you are saying that any of the cards on the list will give me what I am looking for?

Hi Mark,
You can choose from the list of certified graphics cards that have been tested and certified from this tool. Its a safe bet to choose from the tool becuase you know that the cards have been tested. You can also select a possible card and look at the specs and notes made.
The system requiements for AutoCAD 2017 can be found here. And it states
AutoCAD 2017 needs: 1600x1050 or greater True Color video display adapter; 128 MB VRAM or greater; Pixel Shader 3.0 or greater; Direct3D®-capable workstation class graphics card.
Since you are trying to run a specific set up the best recommendation I can give is that you make sure the card or cards you choose meet the requiements at least.
I provided additonal links for you to look at for others who found themseleves in similar situations.
Thanks, everybody for your input. I looked at the list of recommended cards and called NVIDIA and spoke to someone there about a suggestion from Dell and got it taken care of.
Thanks again!
Mark
Hi @Anonymous,
Great to hear that you were able to get what you needed!
Would you mind sharing what graphics card you purchased with your Dell system?
Thanks for posting back and have a great weekend!
Thanks, Emmsleys.
The card I requested is the NVIDIA Quadro K620, which the tech at NVIDIA said could run (4) non-clone displays.
