Font issue between users (Josefin Sans)

Hello! I am having the issue with one of my team members with fonts slightly jumping/differing between user. We believe we are using the same fonts (Josefin Sans), however I am using AutoCAD LT 2022 and she is using LT 2025. This is both on Windows.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Hi,

I saw a similar problem, it was very special and I can't remember - some years sgo.

First check, basic things

2025

Command: Graphicsconfig

Disable the fast Font option

and?

Still a problem, turn DX11 on

Command: GFXDX

0

and?

Hi,

Thank you for the quick reply.

We both tried _graphicsconfig and don't see an option to turn off fast fonts. I had seen this in a different forum and tried this before posting but my options don't like what I saw from others.

As far as the others, when I type in those commands, they don't populate for either us (2022 or 2025) and not sure if that because we are the LT version.

Since graphics drivers that support DirectX12 only offer Fast Fonts and both your computers are showing DirectX11, this is why you don't see this option under GraphicsConfig window.

Does this problem only occur with this particular font?

What if both computers switch the font to Arial?

Thanks Paul.

We are architecture firm and have been using this font for years as our standard font. the new team member, user, that is using 2025 is matching our existing standard but ideally we don't want to start switching our fonts as all of our plan sets/documents/etc. use Josefin Sans.

The switching font is just as a test to see if there are still variations with the standard Windows Arial ttf

Another test option which will take more time is to install 2022lt version on that computer just to see if the problem goes away

Got it! Yes, we both just switched the standard font to Arial on the same file. The two files then looked the same (albeit off from the standard format), however they were consistently together as far as spacing/formatting.

So the longer test would be to install 2022LT just to eliminate 2025LT being an issue.

Another option is to remove Josefin Sans font from both computers and then reinstall it on both just in case some how that font has an issue...

Thank you, we will try that over the next few days and see if that's a solution that works. Much appreciated.

Still testing but it looks like if we both use 2025LT, then we are seeing the same font/space placement and the issue can be resolved. Thanks
