Sometimes when using fillet on polylines a full circle is created in the bends.

This occurs random but more often when other dwg's are inserted as xref and/or the UCS is altered.

You might have a radius set in FILLET command perhaps?
next time it occurs, UNDO, the restart FILLET command, type R and set to to zero manually the try again (do not assume it is 0 if it just says 0, it could be a very small radius and your precision setting hides it).

Yes, I have a radius set. I want to fillet the whole Polyline with the same radius.

Can you post your drawing?

 

Or is it one polyline or many? If it's one it shouldn't be doing that. If it's many make sure each end is connected to the end next to it and try again

Here's your drawing back. I exploded your polyline removed all the circles and arcs some of the circles were doubled up and then filleted and made it a polyline again.

 

Can you post a before drawing (BEFORE you made all the fillets) so we can see what the unaltered polyline was

The problem isn't reworking the polyline, the problem is the "extra" arcs and circles that are created (or doubled up). I can't se no reason why.

Here's a polyline without fillet.

If You try to fillet the whole polyline with radius 74 first and the fillet it again with radius 99 the "extra" circles will occur.

Earlier we used AutoCad LT 2010 where this never happened.

The why is that the second time you use fillet you are telling Autocad to fillet between the end of a line and the end of an arc, and no longer only the straight sections. I can't test the differenece between the two versions but it certainly looks logical in this case.

74 then 99? but the vertical ends are only 150 long... .

 

What is the final shape/result you wish to create? Posting your dwg file alone with no go-by kind of limits our ability to help you out.

 

For example, I circled two 74radius fillets to create a curved end, but the last one with arrow is the 99 radius: show us what a 74 then 99 is supposed to look like

FWIW if you need to go back to LT2010 do so, we around here are just end users trying to help fellow end users with problems they face, no one here can rewrite the program for you.

Try applying the larger 99 radius fillet first and then the 74 radius

Hi,

 

Attached a new file with a second polyline. This one i filleted with R74, now I would like to fillet the larger arcs with first R99 and then R149 to make as large arcs as possible.

Hi @Anonymous,

 

I think the best result you can get is when you follow @h_s_walker's suggestion. You can only apply one radius to a polyline. Please see the documentation of the fillet command: FILLET (Command) 

So applying multiple fillet commands with different radii leads to the circles on your polyline.

When you explode the polyline you can add the radii that you want to the sections that you want.

If you are still having issues to get the result that you are looking for you can also try to use a circle using the Ttr (tan tan radius) option as per this article:

I see what you are trying to do now: you actually want to place the equivalent of a half-circle between the two parallel lines.  See image below, 99r and 149r respectively, is that the goal?

See below: I set Fillet>radius to 99r then selected the horizontal line then vertical line (not the arc) in the first sample, then 149r for the second sample. Seems to work quite well here.

Yes, that's the goal.

It is usually not a problem but when the UCS is altered and/or other dwg's are xref'ed inte the drawing the extra circles and bends are created.

Of course I could fillet each bend but its quite time consuming.

When I fillet the polyline at once with r99 and then r149 I end up with what You can see in the attached picture.
