Fields units

Hi Guys,

My drawings are in millimetres but I need to show the lengths of the fire escapes in meters. I was thinking of using fields for it. Which is working well. but I can't find how to change it from mm to m unless I change the whole drawing units. 

Is it possible?

never mind...

I found it...conversion factor in additional format.

if there is another way please let me know.

Go into the field dialog, setup the field  - object - length ...and open your eyes.

Is there an option for [additional format] ?

If yes, 1meter is 0.001*Millimeter or Millimeter/1000

If you can not figured out, upload a dwg with ONE fire escapes and your field(what showing the length in millimeters.
