Fatal GEDIT error in AutoCAD Lt 2002

I get this error every 5 minutes. I realize I have an old version, but it does what I want. However, I just upgraded to a new compupter with Windows Vista and this error started. Any simple fixes? I tried to install the service pack, but the progam failed to run at all.

There is no fix, go back to your old PC for that one app's use, or purchase
a newer LT version.

Check system components which may conflict with LT - see:
http://www.cadforum.cz/cadforum_en/qaID.asp?tip=3640

But LT2002 is too old to be compatible with Vista so you will probably find
also other problems (if you get over this one).
