Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you're posting for the first time. Welcome to the Autodesk Community, and thank you for posting your question here in the AutoCAD LT forum.

The most common cause of a fatal error crash while saving is a graphics card issue. The first thing I recommend is checking to make sure AutoCAD LT is fully updated, that it's using the right graphics card (most laptops have 2), and that the graphics card has the latest drivers installed.

This article has a bunch of solutions and helpful links for troubleshooting this error. If you need a hand with any of these steps, I'm happy to help.

Hi All,

I was not able to fix the issue...

I tried everything from the topic below but none of it fixed the issue:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/AutoCA...

The only thing that change is the error message see the pic.

New error is A411A388h.

Maybe I fixed one problem but another one occurs?

Not sure if my config is supported but I worked with AutoCAD LT on my previous older laptop and did not have any issue at all:

DELL Latitude 5490

Windows 10 Enterprise

CPU: Intel Core i7-8650 1.90GHZ

GPU: Intel UHD 620

RAM: 8GB

Hi @Anonymous,

Would you mind sending me an NFO file so I can get a complete sense of your system environment? Your laptop should have two graphics cards: the Intel GPU you mentioned, and another discrete card - typically Nvidia or AMD. I'd like to try updating the other card and having AutoCAD use it instead of the Intel.

Hi Chris,

NFO file attached.

I looked into the config, no second graphic card.

I have only the Intel GPU UHD 620.

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for sending that NFO file. Let's try turning Hardware Acceleration off in the GRAPHICSCONFIG dialog in AutoCAD LT.

Can you also use the ABOUT command and tell me what it says next to Product Version?

Hi Chris,

I tried to turn the hardware acceleration off when this problem occurred and it did not help, the software crashed right after I saved a drawing.

Anyway, I tried it again just to make sure and it is still the same.

The Product Version: P.162.0.0 AutoCAD LT 2019.1.2

Thanks

Hi Chris,

I just found out that I can save a drawing as dxf without any issues, only the dwg is the problem.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous,

I'm thinking we should try the troubleshooting steps from this AKN article, since the other solutions didn't seem to apply to this issue. Assuming you're using the US English versions of AutoCAD and Windows, try this:

Let's also try setting your ISAVEPERCENT to 0, if you haven't already.

Let me know how all of this goes. If you have any questions along the way, I'm happy to help.
