Hello
Usually I get this error when I go to print preview and then from preview window I go to plot.
This error happens 30% of time and is very annoying.
I need help how to solve it, please?
I tried: reinstall Autocad LT 2012
reinstall printer drivers
different pcs
I am using laptop computer connected to network and using network to print. I used wired and wireless, same results. I have Windows 7, 32 bit, 4gb memmory, i7 processor.
Thanks
Mike
Are you plotting with a PC3 file or Windows installed printer?

In L2012, start 3DCONFIG command, click on the Manual Tune button, uncheck the box way at the top to use hardware acceleration.
In Windows 7, turn off it's AERO theme and go with Windows Basic Theme instead.
If the two above did not fix it, your access to your printer driver (logs off on a laptop typically) is the problem.
Hello
I am using Kyocera Mita KM-1650 KX - Windows System Driver - by Autodesk.
Then I used Default Windows System Printer.pc3
Then I used Microsoft XPX Document Writer
Then I used PDF Complete
all same errors with 0x0194
Hardware acceleration was already unchecked.
I am already using Windows Basic Theme (company policy).
I reinstalled printers, same problem.
I have additional 3 different printers, same problem.
I can print from plot.
I can't print from preview.
Thanks
Turn hardware acceleration back on, see if it helps: the object of the test is to create a different graphics condition on your PC inside AutoCAD.
Also, is LT2012 fully updated and patched? A requirement IMHO.
Does it crash if DWG to PDF is the default plotter?
Does it crash if DWG to DWF is the default plotter?
These are Autodesk provided drivers we all have that works, all the others you note are from 3rd party sources (even your state KM driver)that I do not have, you'll have to wait for someone with the exact drivers loaded to comment.
Hi Mike,
Definitely install the following update and hotfix:
http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=DL17692311
http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=DL18022638
Try also right-clicking on AutoCAD LT and choosing "Run as administrator" to launch it. The elevated permissions may help. You might also test turning off UAC.
If these don't help, then I would suggest testing a new administrator user account so that AutoCAD LT can load up with a clean initial setup. If it works okay in the new account, then you can reset the program in your own account by clicking Start > All Programs > Autodesk > AutoCAD LT 2012 > Reset Settings To Default.
Hi Mike,
I wanted to follow up with you on this discussion thread. Were you able to get your printing sorted out? Please let us know if any of the above helped.
