Failed to add a Title block to the Layout

I have studied several tutorials on the net how to add a title block by editing the Lauout page and Inserting a prefabricated Title block, but it do not show up as expected.

I find the title block in the list but the Insertion flow do not fit with the tutorial... I only get the arrow and Select Insertion point but nothing result as the Title block...

Strange, what am I doing wrong?

Can you post the drawing with the title block and explain where you are trying to insert the titleblock, it could be so many things! scale, layer problem, block problem, it would be hard to guess at the reason, seeing the dwg might help.

Do you just need to turn on/thaw all layers, then just Zoom>Extents?

Hi, yes its me again. I am now very comfortable with creating new layouts, use viewport and scale. However the Title block remain as a problem, I have modified an existing block and saved it, "Panel31" is the name and my intention was to place it on Layout "Norr" and fill it out.

I have enclosed the updated file. The behaviour from the block is peculiar, why is it so complicated?

It inserts just fine, so I'm guessing the problem is the 'peculiar' behaviour (but it isn't 😀) it works as I would expect it to so what is it that you expect differently? It inserts the block at the point you click.

Looks like you still have an issue with page size vs titleblock size.

Are you just looking for this titleblock in your posted file?

or this one?

Hi, no these are the original ones ( Panel 35 I think) that the pro has created. I have created one on my own by modifying one "Panel" and wanted it to  be placed on the Layout "Norr".

Hi, well I fail.

Could you tell me the command sequence from highlighting the table block and
pasting it to show up where I point on the layout-step by step. I probably
do not correct.

OK, now I found the reason for the problem: it works according to what you say Steven- my conclusion it didnt was that I only "see" a dot, if I zoom in it is there....now I need to figure out why it is like this and what to do to get the right proportion next to my drawing "Norr".

(Ping light bulb -moment) Your title block would normally be placed in the layout, sounds like you are trying to place it inside the viewport (modelspace) make sure you are in paperspace.

OK, fine. When I do so the process is OK until placing the object with a mouse click on the layout. OK. But the scaling issue remain, it is just a dot which I can zoom in, but ( I read a post from 2019 on this tema where you answered steven

Can you post a file with the title block as a dot, the reason is that the title block will be 100 times smaller in modelspace if it does that in paper space then there are other issues.

Steven, now finally I understand how you mean, it became suddenly clear that there is a switch Model/Paper in the right corner i.e. switching to Paper mode the Title block occur perfectly. Thanks! (see picture enclosed)

Pleasant week-end
