Export/transfer workspace and customizations between computers?

I have tried this before (AC2010, AC 2012) and it has never worked correctly, or I did something wrong. Perhaps it will be different with ACLT2017?

I have my system at my office set up just the way I like it. Tool bars, colors, etc. Over the Christmas break I'll be working from home. My ACLT2017 on that machine has no customization, and the few small projects I did take me twice as long. How can I get all the elements easily transferred over?

1,2 and 3 are done at the PC with LT2017 set with all the bells/whistles. A is what you do at the striped down LT2017 PC with the file created by 3.
