I have Illustrator as part of my CC subscription. It allows .DWG and .DXF export of vectors. We design objects and create them using a trumph laser. We currently have autosketch 10 and it is absolutely refusing to work with exported files from Illustrator where free CAD programs like Qcad get great lines. I know it's old but it has always been fine until we started doing more complex lines.
I am doing a trial of LT and when I open the file, the lines are not rounded like in illustrator. This does not happen in Qcad either. Is there a setting to resolve this? I can't make a pitch for my company to upgrade software if the new software still won't show crisp lines for our laser to trace and cut.

Better? Then it is just the performance boost function for curved objects (just for the display, the data is correct, plot will be correct)
If not, upload your sample (DWG file)

As @cadffm says it is possibly just a graphics issue. Select the object in LT and see what it says they are in the properties. Try some of these settings to see if it improves the images
That did indeed fix the display issue. Is there a quick way to add in cut lines for a laser? We are used to autosketch 10.
For instance, take the letter "O". If you want to cut out the center of the letter O, you have to add in a cut mark so it cuts the inside out before it drops the letter itself. Our Trumpf laser will not accept the DXF until the starting cut lines are made.
We create all these manually in autosketch 10. A faster method might exist in LT?
We will open another ticket about that topic later. I am not the CAD guy here and I know I am using the wrong terminology. Thanks for the help with this process!
