Export Data To Excel

I am working in AutoCAD LT 2008.  Is there a way to take the information in the bill of materials in the lower right hand corner of the attached shop and move it into Excel?  Each individual line of text in the bill of materials is its own individual block.  It may help to open the attached drawing to see what I mean.  I'm referring to the table with headings like "POS.", "SECTION and DIMENSIONS", and "LENGTH mm."   Is there a way to put that data in an Excel spreadsheet?

Does LT have ATTOUT?

If so, you can probably get what you want into a text file then some slight tweaking in Excel to get what you want.

Good luck,

LT uses the ATTEXT command, you also need a template file which is just a text file.

Here is a good description of how to go about it, and get the data into excel
