Export Custom Settings for another user

I would like to export 'my' custom settings for other users in my organisation. If I export my settings, and then import them for another user, the elements stored in my 'username' locations, are hard-coded to 'my' username, not .....\'CurrentUsername'\temp, for example. if there any way to amend these to be 'CurrentUser' and this work without manual intervention for others?

What settings are you exporting?

If it's a tool palette you can edit the xtp file as it is a simple text file and you can do a simple search and replace in them

Basically, all the settings that are collected into the Zip file by the Export / Import 'App' installed with AutoCAD .... some are linked to Local App Data / User specific locations, that get bound into an Export hard coded to the user that is exporting them

The hardcoded settings you will not be able to sort easily, but any which are in a text file you can edit, just do a search and replace

OK, thanks, seems a bit limited when sharing standard work etc. do you happen to know the code to replace the named user with the generic 'CurrentUser'  ?

Unless it's in the text file, sorry no.
