Email attachment

Lately I have been receiving an autocad error message when opening a dwg file attachment from Windows Mail.

It says that the file does not exist, cant find file.

If I save the email attachment to a location, I can then open the file from there.

Do you know of any setting that I have to change so I can open the file directly from Windows Mail.

PS, this does not happen every time.

Try emptying your Windows Temp folder under your profile and see if that
helps: the problem is where Mail is storing the temp files needed, nothing
to do with AutoCAD.

Thanks, that worked.

In Vista, the path to the temp file for email attachments is C:\User\(user's name)\appdata\roaming\microsoft\windows\recent items.

Clearing that out allowed me open the files directly from Mail.
