Thank you for responding to my request for help/understanding. Unfortunately your note does not give me enough information to effect a change. I have "opened" individual files and entered the "startup" command ... all show that the default value is already set to "3" .. but in any case it seems to me that this activity comes AFTER the point of my request. When I start LT15 the very first screen displays a list of recently opened files (some of which have been deleted or moved to "customer folders" and are not accessible from the list. The list therefore is not valid .. I would like to remove those files that are no longer necessary from the "recent" list .. it would seem logical to "right click" on the file, have a drop down menu open, and then "click" on "delete" .. but that doesn't work .. so the screen is cluttered with a lot of unnecessary file names .. can anything be dome to remove those files?
