Duplicate definition of block _ArchTick ignored

Command: _pasteclip Duplicate definition of block _ArchTick ignored.
Duplicate definition of block TestBlock01 ignored.

Hi,

I have a CAD DWG file that contains only a DIMENSION.

when i copy and paste the DIMENSION,it shows:

_pasteclip Duplicate definition of block _ArchTick ignored.

When i make a block named TestBlock01 which contains this DIMENSION,and then copy and paste it,it shows:

Command: _pasteclip Duplicate definition of block _ArchTick ignored.
Duplicate definition of block TestBlock01 ignored.

I have some DWGs that contains many blocks like this.
when i copy and patse ,it takes a long time or sometimes the CAD Shut down.

What is worse,it is infectious when i patse the block to other CAD files.

Wait for your help.
Thanks.

The block "ARCHTICK" exists in any dimension. While playing, I found that the only arrowhead sign that is not a block and does not cause this warning when copying and pasting the dimension is the standard "CLOSED FILLED". So, if your dimension has anything else it will produce this warning when pasting.

I can think of two workarounds:

1. Use the COPY command of Autocad, to avoid the Windows CLipboard

2. Change the DIMSTYLE to use arrowhead CLOSED FILLED before copying to Clipboard, and only change it to ARCHTICK before plotting/sending the drawing.

BTW, I noticed something wrong with your drawing units: decimal in the drawing, but inches as insert units for the blocks... it might cause troubles in the future.

JUST RENAME YOUR FILE, SAVE AND EXIT THEN OPEN THE FILE WITH NEW NAME, THEN COPY AND PAST.
