Our whole office is unable to open drawings from the network for long periods of the day. Even when we copy the drawing to the computer it will not open.
Then suddenly for no reason at all it starts working for about an hour and then reverts back.
We have tried most the things we can find in related articles for example certifate revocation, reinstalling, reset profile. We have removed various windows updates that have being linked to simlar issues. The anti virus on our test machine has being removed also.
We changed the DNS settings on our test machine to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
My hunch is that it is internet related but to be honest I am out of ideas hence me posting on here. I am willing to go through every step of any suggestion one by one.
We are currently working as we copy the files required and remove the network cable which allows us to work.
Autocad LT, versions 2014, 2015 and 2016 all affected.
Please help 🙂
Hi,
We had a 100MB network when the issue first occured and the IT company we use sugested an upgrade to 1000MB so we did.
We had an improvement for some time but then on Friday it started again.
The internet works fine, files open fine on the wrest of the network. No latency.
Is there a list of ports, services and programs anywhere (I have spent a lot of time looking to no avail) that decribes what Autocad requires on the internet and the destinations it is trying to access?
I would agree that Network might be at fault if the program did work from a desktop machine but it is exactly the same until the network cable is removed. Which suggests it is certificate problems or name resoulution or even firewall prevention surely?
