Is there a way to draw a line, polyline, or polygon and discover if any other lines intersect, conflict, or cross that feature?

For example, I'm working on a half mile long right of way corridor.  I want to see if an unerground vault 7 ft wide would fit inside the right of way line.  I've offset the right of way 7 ft inside.  Then, searching by hand and eye to see what lies  between the two lines drawn.  Wondering if there is a feature to find what lies within.  Or, can Visual Basic or another coding language be used to write a routine to discover what lies inside?

The quality of the image doesn't show us anything. There are no 'coding languages' in LT, Would hatching areas help if you use a 50% transparency for the hatch, and contrasting colors then, any overlaps of areas would be very visible.

No such tool exists in the program, and there is not ability to customize with any coding language in LT (part of the discounted pricing you enjoy with this lowest code variant).

What does that teeny tiny image tell us about your industry/type of drawing/drafting you do for a living? Perhaps a more appropriate variant of AutoCAD is what you need if we knew that (and you have the $$ to subscribe).
