dimentions copy from other shape

Hello,

I have a question about copying dimensions of an rectangle.

Lets say i have an rectangle with the dimensions of 100 x 100 mm.

When I want to use this dimensions with a -2 mm on the left startingpoint and a +2 mm (typing in the commandbar) at the right endpoint, I used to have an rectangle with the dimensions of 104 x 100mm.

But since the update to 2021 LT he only uses the height of the object, so when I enter the last (+2mm) measurement  this results in an rectangle of 2 x 100 mm. 

Is there a setting to activate the former settings?

Forgive me, but I am not familiar with what you are trying to do (in the old version or new): are you just having a problem stretching your rectangle object with grip editing? If yes, what is your DYNMODE set to?

or do you need to turn off your running osnaps first?

If you are not placing your dimensions to your actual rectangle they cannot be associated with the geometry and will not adjust with it
