Creating a viewport automatically adds viewport scale to all annotative objects

It seems like recently, when I create a new viewport, say at 1/8" per foot scale, CAD is automatically adding the 1/8" per foot scale to all annotative objects (text, dimensions, & leaders).

This does not work for me as I use multiple different scales in the same DWG file and sometimes allow annotative items to show even though they do not match the viewport scale.

Is there a way to turn this off?  I am running 2021 LT.

Hi Moe,

I'm curious to know if you had to remove and replace all of these objects, after you turned the annotative scale setting off, as was suggested.

I had the same problem, but when I turned off he "Add scales" annotation setting, none of the blocks, dims, test or other objects reset.

Hope to hear back

cheers

Unfortunately I did not find a way to remove the extra scales without selecting the objects, opening the properties, and editing which scales were associated to the objects.

I caught it early enough that it only caused me a problem on 1 dwg file and didn't pollute all of my files.
